Bridgestone e12 Contact Balls
The Bridgestone e12 Contact is designed for players who want more distance with improved feel and forgiveness. The Contact Force Dimple system increases surface contact, which helps energy transfer to produce straighter flights with most clubs. The soft core also contributes to a noticeably softer feel and confidence on every swing. This model is well-suited for high-handicap golfers seeking reliable distance off the tee and consistency across the bag.
- CONTACT FORCE DIMPLE creates 38% more surface contact between the golf ball and the club for more efficient energy transfer
- STRAIGHT DISTANCE – Longer and straighter flight with driver and every other club in your bag
- IMPROVED FEEL – Softer core contributes to significantly enhanced feel on all shots
Bridgestone e12 Straight White
The Bridgestone e12 Straight White focuses on stabilizing flight while delivering solid distance. Its Optimal Flight System helps minimize direction changes, making it easier to keep shots on target. The line emphasizes forgiveness, so mis-hits still travel relatively straight. For players who struggle with hooks or slices but want dependable yardage, this ball offers practical benefits with a straightforward design.
- NEW! Optimal Flight System
- IMPROVED DISTANCE – Reduced hooks and slices for improved distance
- INCREASED FORGIVENESS – Contact Force Dimple for reduced side spin and increased forgiveness
Bridgestone e12 HiLaunch Double Dozen
The Bridgestone e12 HiLaunch Double Dozen is built for higher launch and ample carry. Its low compression soft core promotes a higher initial launch, helping slower swing speeds get the ball airborne more easily. At the same time, the Optimal Flight System supports stable flight, so shots go farther with less effort. This makes it a strong option for moderate to high swing speeds seeking distance without sacrificing feel.
- NEW! Optimal Flight System
- LONGER DISTANCE – Increased carry for longer distance
- HIGER LAUNCH – Low compression soft core for higher initial launch
Bridgestone e6 Soft White
Bridgestone e6 Soft White emphasizes a soft feel and long distance. A softer, larger core promotes quicker compression for distance while a soft seamless cover helps generate better spin control and feel around greens. The design aims to be forgiving on off-center hits, which is particularly helpful for high-handicap players who may miss the center more often.
- NEW! The soft feel, long distance golf ball
- LONGER DISTANCE – Softer and larger core for faster compression and longer distance
- INCREASED CONTROL – Soft seamless cover for better spin and feel

Buying Guide
Key purchase considerations
High-handicap players should prioritize balls that maximize forgiveness, ease of launch, and a soft feel. Look for models with softer cores, larger dimple patterns for stability, and cover constructions that promote predictable spin control. Brighter or lighter colors can aid visibility on windy days, while adequate spin is important around greens but should not introduce excessive curvature on off-center hits.
Core, cover, and dimple design
Core hardness and cover materials influence feel, distance, and spin control. Softer cores improve launch for slower speeds and soften impact, while intact covers help with greenside control. Dimple designs vary—more surface area and specific patterns can stabilize flight and reduce dispersion, which is especially helpful for golfers who struggle with inconsistent contact.
Distance, forgiveness, and feel balance
For high handicappers, forgiving balls that still offer meaningful distance are ideal. Balance between feel at impact and flight stability reduces mis-hits and improves confidence. Bridgestone’s e12 line emphasizes straightness and forgiveness, while the e6 family blends soft feel with strong distance. Considering your swing speed and typical mishits helps select the right model.
What to compare when choosing
Compare core type, dimple design, and cover construction across models. If you swing slowly, prioritize lower compression and higher launch for easier lift-off. If you miss the center often, seek balls with higher forgiveness and lower spin off mis-hits. Always verify the ball’s flight traits on the range before committing to a whole bag replacement, ensuring the ball aligns with your typical shot shapes and distances.
